A Prayer For You

 » Filed under Uncategorized at 11:15 b

Just a little prayer for you (and me!).

When you are DOWN to nothing …
"God is UP to something"

Father, in the Name of Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, bless the one reading this in a special way.

Open supernatural doors in their life today.
Save and set free!

Give them a double portion of your Spirit as we take back everything that the devil has stolen:

Emotional Health

Physical Health

Finances

Relationships

Jobs

Homes

Marriages.

Cancel every plot, plan and scheme the enemy has devised against them, in the MATCHLESS NAME OF JESUS.

And I declare: NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST THEM WILL PROSPER.

I speak LIFE into every dead situation.

And, I thank you that nothing is over until YOU say it’s over!

I pray particularly for their lives and their situations:

Their household is blessed;
Their health is blessed;
Their marriage is blessed;
Their finances are blessed;
Their jobs are blessed;
Their children are blessed;
Their grandchildren are blessed;
Their parents are blessed;
Their siblings are blessed;
Their ministries are blessed; and,
Their decisions are blessed.
Husbands are on the way;
Wives are on the way;
Mortgages are paid and cancelled;
Their hearts’ desires are on the way;

according to YOUR perfect will and plan for their lives.

IN JESUS’ NAME!

AMEN!! AMEN!!!

My Idol Pick

 » Filed under Uncategorized at 7:05 b

Ok so I got into American Idol…again! I thought I would tire of viewing this show but as you get to know the contestants, I don’t know you get attached. My Idol pick this go ’round is Lakisha Jones. She seems sweet, sincere and has an idea of what she can actually sing. No offense to anyone but most of the white chicks just ain’t got a clue what they can sing, come on now…one tried to sing Chaka…h-e-l-l-o—but overall, I think as far as a singing competition goes the top five for me are:  Lakisha Jones, Stephanie Edwards, Melinda Doolittle, Sabrina Sloan, Jordin Sparks. Going home, I think Antonella and Alaina.

21 Week Baby Lives

Miracle Baby Makes History

My son was born at 26 weeks and the docs said he was a “micro premie” but this baby has made history as the smallest baby to survive! She was born at 21 weeks and is going home today. Shows what a hospital who does their job right and God’s favor can do.

Revisited Quote

 » Filed under Uncategorized at 1:45 b

I am in the process of a move. A move spiritually and a move physically for both my family and hopefully soon our church. But you know what moving entails…packing. Yuk! As I cleaned off my desk of all the little pieces of paper, I found this statement, "ask for the gift of discernment, all other gifts flow from there" and "the biggest challenge in ministry is not what to do, it’s what not to do!" Bishop Kenneth Ulmer said that when I was in CA in 2006.

Wounded Healer Makes Year 2!

 » Filed under Uncategorized at 9:17 b

This past Sunday, Wounded Healer celebrated 2 years in the Kingdom! Pastor David Wyns of Barnabas ministries, a missionary to Africa, Latin America and India shared the word on this day. Pictures forthcoming.

I, however, want to share this video that due to formatting no one got to see in church that day. :-( BTW, I did this myself on my Imac!

Here are a few pics of the day:

New Breed & 4 More Yards

 » Filed under Uncategorized at 6:15 b

"It was the worst of times, it was the best of times." That is how the classic story begins known to many as the opening sentence of A Tale of Two Cities, by Charles Dickens, referring to the time of the French Revolution.

However, today for me personally it was the worst of times in our church because the only ones that made it today were my family (including my sister-in-law, niece and mother-in-law) and one member of the church (excluding musicians).  Sure some called with  valid reasons for not coming but that doesn’t take away from the empty room. I had to "bring it" in worship and my husband had to do the same in his sermon. Wow, that was hard. If you’ve never been there, don’t say it’s easy cause it isn’t.  But bring it we did because this was our connection point with God as well, not just those who attend — and in so doing, it was the best of times. The worship and the sermon was just so on! God’s presence was there mightily.

My husband preached an absolutely awesome message that had us all crying. It is Super Bowl Sunday and although not a sports fanatic, he wanted to use the hype of the day to bring home a spiritual message. I can do no justice to his message and I can’t wait until we finally get our recorder to let you hear the sermons, but in a nutshell, he preached about how God wants us to give him 4 More Yards…not to quit even when the going gets rough, even when it hurts, even when you are carry burdens. He used a clip from "Facing the Giants" called Wholehearted, see here and it brought the message home! Wow. I needed to hear that today.

Football_field Too bad the folks missed this today, "miss a Sunday, miss alot!" It was like Jesus telling me not to quit and not to even think of being defeated…even when I’m discouraged about this phase of church planting life, I want to give HIM "four more yards."  I asked my mother-in-law at the end of the service to pray for us (Hiram, me and the kids) after Hiram prayed for those who did attend and that was powerful as well. As I said, it was the best of times and the worst of times.

He used this in his message as well, and I was ready with "Yes Lord" after that!  This is the New Breed of Christian we need to be. We’re watching the entire movie tonight. Stay encouraged YOU out there doing what you are for the Lord. None of it is in vain!

I am a soldier in the army of my God!

The Lord Jesus Christ is my Commanding Officer!

The Holy Bible is my code of conduct! Faith, prayer and the word are my weapons of warfare! I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire! I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity! I will either retire in this army at the rapture or die in this Army; but I will not get out, sell out, be talked out or pushed out! I am faithful, reliable, capable and dependable!

If my God needs me, I am there! If He needs me in Sunday School, to teach children, work with youth, help adults or just sit and learn, He can use me, because I am there! I am a soldier! I am not a baby! I do not need to be pampered, petted, primed up, pumped up, picked up or pepped up!

I am a soldier! No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me or lure me! I am a soldier! I am not a wimp! I am in place, saluting my King, obeying His orders, praising His name and building His kingdom!

I am committed! I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around! I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside! I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit! When Jesus called me into this army, I had nothing! If I end up with nothing, I will still come out even! I will win! My God will supply all my needs!

I am more than a conqueror! I will always triumph! I can do all things through Christ! Devils cannot defeat me! People cannot disillusion me! Weather cannot weary me! Sickness cannot stop me! Battles cannot beat me! Money cannot buy me! Governments cannot silence me and HELL CANNOT HANDLE ME!

I’m a soldier, and I’m gonna fight even if no one else notices! Hell will notice! My enemy will notice!
